Stafford Lynch are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Van Sales Representative in the Donegal area.

This Opportunity As a Van Sales Representative you are the face of the Stafford Lynch when you are in-store, interacting with store managers.
You will be responsible for the sales and merchandising of all Stafford Lynch products and brands and covering all channels based on the sales strategy, focus, and priority, which can change depending on the companys needs.
You will gain experience in a busy FMCG environment with exposure to food and non-food channels. This role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to expand their sales, influencing and people interaction skills.
Van Sales representatives will have a flexible geographical range, which enables the team to maximise all sales channels during seasonal periods, example Christmas/Golden Qtr (Oct-Dec) and Summer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Sales You are responsible for the sales development and delivery of all stores within a set geographical area.
NPD sell in based on national ranging agreement by account Range extensions.
Follow up/through on all leads put forward by Business Development Executive, Direct Sales Manager, Brand and Account teams Support the delivery of the Golden Quarter Sales Drive.
Servicing of all Customers as per prevailing defined journey plan and achievement of SLAs Demonstrate flexibility and proactivity in adopting new brands, channels and promotional tools Orders, Stock, Promotions Local ranging agreed based on specific account criteria Bundle deal promotional sell-in based on flexibility of channel & brands Deal loaders specific to channel and brand on a cycle by cycle basis Influence ordering at store level (key stakeholder, i.e. store manager)
Order capture via HHT device Stock rotation Stock management and depot management (where applicable) Audits Audit capture by store based on cycle need Capture/Communicate brand and competitor activity Merchandising Best in Class merchandising including implementation of planograms and ensuring SELs in position When and where applicable, responsible for ensuring the consumer promotion has been activated instore (POS/ Features etc) When applicable, building, placement and merchandising of branded stands instore Skills and Experience You must have a full valid category B driving licence.
Experience calling into Multiples including Dunnes, Tesco etc is essential.
Advanced influencing skills and evidence of delivering influence selling in a previous position/role Demonstrated skills in achieving sales growth via new business and organic growth means and evidence of delivery in a previous position/role Merchandising Experience within the FMCG sector Van Sales would be an advantage but not essential.
Candidate should possess strong communication skills and be able to articulate complex commercial offers/deals backed up by marketing messages Ability to interface and build positive relationships with retail stakeholders (managers, staff & back store) High-energy and self-starter Demonstrated commitment to building strong relationships with customer Local retail knowledge an advantage Skills:
