Job Title: Technical Engineer
Location: County Carlow
Employment Type: Contract - 12 months
This Technical Engineering role will play a key part in the development of our client's drug product facility. The role involves leading activities to deliver on the Tech Transfer requirements needed to support New Product Introduction. This includes but is not limited to: tech transfer, validation programs & strategies, technical support, and process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture in County Carlow.
* Ensure compliance with Global Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.
* Lead and execute process engineering and validation activities to support technical transfers.
* Manage multiple Technical Engineering projects, including process improvements, capital projects, and Lean projects.
* Use scientific, product, and process understanding as a basis for developing risk-based approaches to investigations and troubleshooting.
* Act as a subject matter expert on Equipment Design, assisting in C&Q execution and planning, process design, and validation.
Requirements:
* Considerable experience in a comparable role, with process engineering and/or validation experience in a sterile manufacturing environment.
* Proven track record in leading a technical team of engineers/scientists.
* Familiarity with regulatory/code requirements and sterile filling processes and equipment.
* Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
* Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
* Degree qualification or equivalent (Science, Engineering, Technical). Green Belt preferable.
