Post Summary: The School of Medicine seeks to appoint an Executive Officer with responsibility for providing high level administrative support to the Leadership of the GHAP project during a period of significant growth and development.
The Executive officer will provide essential administrative support to the Schools research activity over the next three years during this period of development.
The Executive officer will be responsible for the overall research administration including, but not limited to, reporting, marketing & communications, budgeting, project management and event management.
This post is a varied and challenging role demanding initiative, attention to detail, a strong service focus and excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
Context The Executive officer will support senior leadership with the day to day running of the GHAP project.
The GHAP project supports a two Senior Research Fellows and one PhD Student, though the group will grow during the lifetime of the project.
This is a specific purpose contract.
The specific purpose of this employment is to create an Executive officer vacancy on a temporary basis.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this post is to provide clerical and organisational support for the GHAP project Hours of Post: Part-Time (0.4 FTE) Salary: This appointment will be made **pro-rata **on the Executive Officer Merged Salary Scale (€32,191 - €50,199 per annum pro-rata) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
