Responsibilities
6. Lead the project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines.
7. Attend meetings with architects and contractors to establish needs.
8. Lead structural design for major projects
9. Lead the production of calculations, drawings and reports.
10. Provide technical guidance to project team.
11. Supervise and mentor junior staff.
12. Site Inspections & BCAR Inspections & coordination
Requirements
13. 6+ years experience in Structural Engineering
14. Minimum of a Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field in the Irish / UK market.
15. Chartered Engineer
16. Strong analytical and technical skills.
17. Excellent written and verbal (English) communication and interpersonal
communication skills.
18. Understanding of engineering principles and materials including concrete, steel
19. Proven ability to manage teams, to deliver complex projects and to build client relationships.
20. Proficiency in Structural Engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit /ROBOT
