DescriptionWe are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us on a 6-month FTC basis, and become a key part of our team who receive and distribute pharmaceutical products whilst maintaining stock control and ensure a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.This role will be across 5 days, Mon-Fri, over a split pattern between 08:00 – 18:30. Weekend & BH cover on a planned roster required as business needs demand.People Although no direct reports, strong interpersonal communication and relationship management are required within the Operations Centre, the wider Clinigen business (CTS, Customer Services & GAP) To assist in the effective operation of the OPC by: Ensuring compliance to GDP for all activities Individual training and development (on the job training/coaching and specific technical courses) Contributes to development and maintenance of Clinigen’s culture and the development of an OPC high performing team. Operational To assist in the receipt and checking in of stock, ensuring that all deliveries from suppliers are correct, and that damages/errors are reported within one working day, and all associated paperwork completed correctly and in a timely manner. Checking all materials are as ordered against GRN, recording all discrepancies and highlighting all errors and omissions. To assist in the effective management of stock, rotation of stock, stock taking and the recording of stock to ensure availability for sale within 24 hours. Monitor any stock out situation and record same to facilitate investigation to root cause/elimination. To complete the necessary cleaning required ensuring that the Operations Centre is maintained within the HPRA and Health & Safety Audit requirements. To assist with the delivery of orders to customers, including picking and packing, ensuring that they are correct and are presented to the customer with the necessary documents. To work closely with all Clinigen departments to ensure that all delivery specifications are met. Work to the agreed targets set out in the PDP designed in conjunction with the line manager. Ensuring Housekeeping is of the highest standard. Control own work area and areas of responsibility When lifting or working at heights follow all site safety procedures Adhere to all EHS PPE policies and practices. Technical To work in accordance with all company SOPs and recall procedures Undertake initial (upon appointment) and ongoing GDP training, ensuring the Operations Centre is operated under GDP guidelines. To complete administrative duties as required as well as security and temperature recording. Maintain pest control standards. Requirements Relevant experience of working within a fast paced, proactive warehouse environment. Ability to work under limited supervision. Flexible in working as part of a team and provide support when and where required. Support improvement activities/events within the warehouse. Excellent numerical, verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills Punctuality and ability to prioritise own workload. Up-to-date reach truck / counterbalance license and driving license would be advantageous for this position Minimum leaving cert or equivalent. Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel etc.) Customer service skills
