RecruitNet International is inviting applications for the role of Deputy Person in Charge to state-of-the-art Nursing Homes in Laois, Ireland.
A compassionate Deputy Person in Charge can ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing care while leading a team.
Responsibilities
* Assure that Residents receive the best possible care.
* Lead, plan, and oversee the daily operations of the Home in compliance with the National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland and the Health Act of 2007.
* Act in the best interests of the assisted living facility and its residents at all times, acting as a senior management representing of the facility.
* Possess self-motivation and a willingness to collaborate with others in a team to create better care models for the Home.
* Take the initiative to look for ways to make things better and be open to change.
Requirements
* Three years at least after qualification
* A post-registration management degree in medicine or a closely connected discipline
* Outstanding familiarity with HIQA standards
* Possess NMBI registration or the right to possess NMBI registration
* Proof of ongoing professional progress.
* Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
* Must have the clinical, administrative, and leadership skills necessary to carry out the role's responsibilities in an appropriate manner.
