This is a hybrid position based in our Dublin 2 offices. We are seeking a Product DevOps and Delivery Lead to oversee the fully automated build, test, and deploy systems essential for software development.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the DevOps team to implement, evolve, and maintain Continuous Integration, Test, and Deployment pipelines.
* Contribute to the definition and execution of the DevOps Strategic Plan, in alignment with engineering leadership.
* Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure proper non-functional scoping (e.g., obsolescence management).
* Maintain and monitor DevOps dashboards to ensure visibility into performance and operational status.
* Ensure configuration management of systems and applications is consistent across all SDLC stages.
* Lead application development and deployment processes, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
* Operate with an 'automate-first' mindset, driving collaboration with architecture, development, and QA teams.
* Develop resources, methods, and tools for delivering Agile practice services in partnership with Agile Delivery Engineers and Managers.
* Perform root cause analysis for system and process issues, ensuring solutions align with DevOps principles.
* Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
* Drive change management initiatives to implement new tools and processes, fostering adoption and scalability.
Requirements:
* Facilitate collaboration across engineering, architecture, and QA teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.
* Drive innovation in DevOps tooling and processes, prioritizing automation and continuous improvement.
* Develop and execute strategic plans in alignment with organizational goals.
* Manage risks and dependencies effectively, ensuring smooth delivery.
* Communicate effectively across teams, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment.
* Build consensus and drive initiatives forward across teams and stakeholders, even without direct reporting relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field (qualifications in Project or Program Management are desirable).
* 5+ years of progressively responsible experience, ideally within a complex pharmacy or healthcare organization.
* Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle processes.
* Familiarity with Agile techniques like user stories, continuous integration, test automation, and pairing.
* Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
* Proven ability to manage risks and facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.
* Certificates such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.

* Configuration management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
* Cloud architecture fundamentals.
