Job Description:
* Planning and Execution - Oversee pastry production for our bakery support kitchen that supports our locations and client sites, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.
* Attention to Detail - Maintain high-quality products by monitoring presentation, wastage, and portion control, upholding the highest standards of excellence.
* Staff Management - Recruit, train, and provide feedback to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Inventory and Cost Control - Monitor and manage stock levels, implement efficient ordering systems, and optimize supply chain management to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
* Customer Relations - Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues, understanding their specific needs and preferences, and maintaining open communication channels to address concerns and requirements.
* Health and Safety Compliance - Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food safety protocols, creating a culture of safety and well-being within the workplace.
* Budget and Financial Management - Develop and manage kitchen budgets, report on financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures to maintain operational efficiency.
* Menu Development and Innovation - Stay updated on culinary trends, incorporate new ideas into menus, and continuously improve the quality and variety of dishes offered.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior role.
* Excellent creative culinary skills, with a focus on pastry experience.
* Leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of success.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Proficiency in food cost management and inventory control.
* Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
