Purchasing Specialist
Join our company in north Cork and take on the role of a Purchasing Specialist. In this position, you will oversee all commercial aspects within your portfolio and play a pivotal role in business strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the product assortment within your portfolio to ensure a competitive and innovative product range.
* Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts and minimize excess stock.
* Lead negotiations on terms, conditions, pricing, bid evaluations, and delivery charges to ensure optimal cost efficiencies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven purchasing experience, with a track record of maintaining strong supplier relationships.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial decisions.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
