Below are the main responsibilities:
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and trace files and report information to customersUse export workflow to manage the movement of shipmentsEnsure accurate and timely client and vendor billingEnsure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicableInteract with customers in arranging their road shipments, meeting customer service standardsContribute to maintaining good relationships with suppliersMeet compliance at all times to regulations, internal and external, in accordance with government regulationsUnderstand department process flow and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivityEnsure all customers' standard operating procedures are in place and updatedMeet KPI standards in accordance with the Company's proceduresEscalate problems to management when necessaryQualificationsKnowledge: 3-5 years of experience within road freightExcellent organizational skillsBasic local regulatory knowledge for complianceHazardous materials certification (preferred)Skills: Pro-active, strong organizational skillsEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
