Our client is a leading PLC with a global presence. They are looking for an experienced individual to join their high performing team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will be sitting in the Dublin office within the Finance team and is varied in nature. The team is responsible for a variety of areas and the role provides the opportunity for both international and cross-functional exposure.
This role will suit a high performing and career focused finance professional. Main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Assist in planning and reviewing budgets, focusing on market assumptions, cost environment, and performance metrics;
* Assist in the preparation of business performance notes and disclosures for the Annual Report;
* Development and implementation of reporting systems across the group and newly acquired businesses;
* Assist in monthly Board and management reporting, providing critical trend analysis and performance metrics;
* Preparation of performance briefings for senior management and investors;
* Acting as a coach and mentor to more junior members of the team;
* Build strong relationships with Divisional Finance teams to enhance performance insights;
* Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and other specialists;
* On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Big 4/Top 10 trained qualified accounting professional with 7+ years PQE;
* Previous Financial Analysis and Commercial experience preferred;
* Excellent academic record;
* Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team;
* Confidence to address challenges as they arise;
* Ambitious, motivated individual with an exceptional attention to detail;
* Experience in delivering on tight reporting deadlines.
