The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Support Analyst Developer to provide technical support for operations related to Java and .NET based applications and systems. This role requires a hands-on, driven individual who can support a team of engineers by providing expert-level troubleshooting and ensuring the smooth operation of applications under Managed Services. Your Key Responsibilities:
Customer Request Management: Own assigned customer requests, ensuring they are analysed, tested, and responded to objectively.
Documentation Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding various projects and processes.
Requirements Identification: Identify requirements and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
Data Analysis: Gather, review, and analyse business and industry data, including internal datasets and external applications.
Solution Improvement Assessment: Assess options for solution improvements, including business process and data modelling.
System Monitoring: Monitor live production systems, focusing on key service objectives to ensure optimal performance.
Log Analysis: Run system and application logs to identify issues raised for each application.
Technical Issue Identification: Identify technical issues related to applications, performance, and system integrations.
Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve issues impacting applications.
Incident Resolution: Ensure timely and accurate resolution of incidents and service requests.
Post-Incident Review: Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to root cause analysis.
Process Improvement: Engage in support processes and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Liaise with cross-functional development teams and project managers to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
Skills and Attributes:
At least 4 years of experience in a support role.
Strong business analysis skills and qualifications.
Highly skilled in troubleshooting and debugging Java applications.
Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and web technologies.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
Proficient with tools such as Jira, Maven, and SonarQube.
Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced situations.
Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow and AzureDevOps.
Preferred Qualifications:
ITIL certification.
Cloud certifications.
