Job Title
A key role within the organization, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills to gather and document business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder engagement and system analysis.
* Work with stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables and manage end-user expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
* Develop positive professional relationships with internal and external users.
* Elicit, document, and maintain requirements using various techniques including system interviews and use cases.
* Plan and lead business process development sessions to understand current and desired processes.
* Lead data schema and mapping efforts for requirements.
* Verify design against requirements and make recommendations for issue resolution.
* Create supporting product documentation and ensure effective communication across teams.
* Proactively resolve current and future problems.
* Develop scope and define backlog items for agile software development teams.
* Collaborate with UX teams to align user experience and user stories.
* Fundamentally understand end-to-end customer experience, integrations, and dependencies.
* Demonstrate the product to stakeholders and gather feedback.
Qualifications:
* 4-year degree preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in gathering requirements.
* Experience with system analysis, writing test documentation, and tracking errors.
* Expertise in extracting business requirements using standard methodologies.
* Experience with data mapping and client-facing portal development.
* Proficiency in Excel and Word.
* Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is nice to have.
* Business and Process Analysis knowledge, particularly on workflow/data flow management.
* Exposure to Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methods.
