Our client is a leading global technology company that provides innovative solutions to businesses around the world. They are currently seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team and lead the implementation of their Digital Transformation IT system.
The Role:
You will collaborate on all project aspects to deliver the best Digital Transformation solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing and validating business requirements, creating functional designs, managing changes, identifying risks, and supporting proposals, feasibility studies, and new business development.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Introduce and implement the Digital Transformation IT system as core base.
2. Retire the legacy applications and move to a newer cloud-based technology.
3. Build and maintain partnerships with business partners.
4. Develop detailed solutions and designs to satisfy the business requirements.
5. Participate in the Development & Maintenance of the Business Capability.
6. Roadmap by Domain in collaboration with Business Partners.
7. Identify and address risks from an operational, financial, and technological perspective.
8. Identify and influence decisions with respect to opportunities to improve efficiency.
9. Understand the business process and vision and how to effectively align solutions to both.
10. Communicate effectively and concisely with business leads.
11. Influence key stakeholders to invest in the strategic direction of the project.
12. Apply industry-leading expertise to recommend and coordinate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business systems, processes, and solutions using high-maturity methods, processes, and tools.
13. Combine industry expertise with an advanced understanding of information technology to develop innovative business solutions.
14. Lead requirements management and change management processes.
15. Direct development of visualization and user experience elements of solution design.
16. Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to manage scope, schedule, budgets, and expectations.
17. Lead business studies and present study results to senior management. Lead proposals, feasibility studies, and new business development activities.
18. Leverage industry and technical knowledge to assess the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment and to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical software discipline or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with user experience design, external facing portals, web services, and mobile solutions.
3. Experience in cloud-based software, AWS, Azure Cloud Concepts.
4. Experience with ERP systems would be an advantage.
5. Statistical analysis; data analysis and working knowledge of SQL.
6. Foundation Certification in ITIL and Foundation Certification in ISTQB.
7. Decomposition of high-level information into details; abstracting low-level information.
8. Distinguishing requests vs needs; distinguishing requirements vs. solutions.
9. Ambiguity analysis, ensuring consistent understanding across users, designers, and testers.
10. Business process modelling current/future state processes; business rules modelling.
11. Six Sigma, CMMI AND PCMMI, Virtualization, and Agile Project Delivery Concepts.
12. Defining and managing scope and client expectations, requirements change management, and traceability.
13. Hands-on experience working with financial software.
14. Applying creativity/innovation to solving complex problems; developing and communicating a vision for project/system.
15. Strong presentation skills.
