As a Contracts Manager at SAP Landscapes, you will play a crucial role in managing a high volume of tree works projects while ensuring that all operations adhere to health and safety standards, client expectations and company policies. You will lead a team of employees and coordinate with various departments to deliver exceptional landscaping services. Position: Tree Works Contracts Manager Location: Maynooth Reporting to: Operational Manager - Maintenance Department This job description outlines some of the duties and responsibilities that are associated with your role but it is by no means an exhaustive list and may be amended as the management of the company directs. Key Responsibilities Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to company health and safety policies and client site regulations. Conduct regular site visits to oversee compliance with safety practices and standards. Team Management: Organize and plan daily activities with team members regarding resources and project timelines. Monitor individual performance, attendance, and attitude, escalating issues as necessary. Provide guidance and support to crews, including undertaking manual labor when needed. Project Coordination: Manage incoming tree and non-tree works projects, scheduling and supervising work to ensure timely completion. Collaborate with the management team to communicate project timelines and updates to clients. Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing concerns and feedback professionally. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while seeking opportunities for upselling additional services. Reporting and Documentation: Generate and check daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to tree works. Ensure proper documentation and correspondence for contracted works are maintained and accessible. Financial Management: Monitor financial targets and work towards achieving budgetary goals. Assist in invoicing processes and liaise with the finance department regarding cash collection and payroll administration. Training and Development: Identify and manage training needs for team members. Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives as required by management. Requirements Previous experience/knowledge in a similar industry desirable. Strong leadership experience and excellent plant knowledge. Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Valid Safe Pass. Full clean driving licence.
