We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Materials Management solutions for some of the largest global organisations.
In this role, you will analyse business requirements, develop SAP-enabled solutions, and provide expert guidance on best practices in procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Key responsibilities of the role: Analyse business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information needs, business processes) through conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analysing the information and being able to document an accurate understanding of their business requirements and mapping of those to SAP business processes.
Provide estimates, impact analysis, feasibility assessments for SAP based solutions for customer requirements.
Confidence and ability to make recommendations for the selection of appropriate SAP business processes to meet client requirements effectively.
Develop process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components.
Designing SAP enabled solutions and functional specifications.
Functionality Testing: Knowledge of and ability to use testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing.
Design and develop test plans (e.g., test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
Coordinate execution of project tasks in your functional area and be comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines.
Working closely with the Organisational Change Management (OCM) team and supporting the preparation and execution of training of SAP users.
Plan and carry out cut-over activities and go live support.
Support for users after go-live of the system in hyper care environment.
Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise in SAP implementation methodologies, tools, and techniques.
YOUR PROFILE Strong understanding of business processes in the logistics area.
MM process knowledge such as material master data management, sourcing and procurement, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, logistics invoice verification, inventory management and subcontracting processes and capabilities.
Very good communication skills, good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent configuration experience within SAP MM module such as material type configuration, procurement types, valuation types, movement types, and other relevant configuration elements.
Ideally, experience of at least 3 full lifecycle projects, and at least 5 years MM experience.
Lead workshops to understand business processes with the ability to articulate best/standard practice.
Strong background of Solution Design and Implementation.
Expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and business processes, coupled with the ability to map business requirements to SAP MM functionalities.
Knowledge of integrations with other SAP modules such as SD, WM/EWM, and FI-CO. Experience with both waterfall and Agile implementation methodologies.
Experience working with offshore teams.
Willingness to travel across Europe as required by the role.
Nice to have: Experience on migrating SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
Knowledge of interfaces and IDocs.
Business experience.
SAP S/4HANA Certification.
