About the Role
Our company, based in a convenient location near Cork city, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

The Role: The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
* Develop and maintain efficient financial policies, procedures, and systems to ensure transparency.
* Prepare and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with department heads.
* Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders and the Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the non-profit or charity sector.
* Proven experience in budget management, financial analysis, and reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and other relevant legislation.
* Managing the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors.
* Implementing internal controls to safeguard assets and funds.
* Identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies.
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders, we would like to hear from you.
The successful candidate will also have advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Quick Books, Sage) and strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
