A leading energy provider seeks a Company Secretary on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, with options to work from either Dublin or Cork. This hybrid role combines remote and office work.
Job Summary
The Secretariat Analyst will ensure corporate policy documents comply with governance and legislative requirements by:
* Coordinating the annual review of the Code of Business Conduct and ensuring timely completion of returns from board members, directors, senior management, and employees.
* Regularly reviewing corporate policy documents for compliance with governance requirements and arranging approvals as necessary.
* Maintaining confidential registers of returns and updating policy logs.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Updating Ethics in Public Office return forms annually and distributing declarations to relevant parties.
* Maintaining company secretarial obligations for subsidiary companies, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and filing annual returns.
* Liaising with Committee Members and stakeholders to schedule meetings and prepare materials.
* Engaging with Government Departments to manage responses to parliamentary questions and information requests.
* Reviewing contracts for execution and ensuring compliance with approval protocols.
* Collaborating with the Company Secretary to implement processes and procedures for best practice corporate governance.
Requirements

* A third-level degree in Business or a related area.
