MCS Group is proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company based in County Monaghan to recruit an Engineering Project Manager.
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will manage the execution of engineering projects throughout the group and deliver them on time and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage and deliver on various engineering projects.
2. Work closely with stakeholders, keeping them updated on project progress and any arising issues.
3. Resolve engineering problems by collecting information, researching & analyzing, recommending solutions, and preparing drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
4. Evaluate components, materials, and suppliers, developing specifications and safety standards.
5. Co-ordinate and organize internal teams and third-party labor for the execution of projects to a high standard.
6. Ensure all parties adhere to the overall project plan throughout the project life cycle.
7. Maintain project team accomplishments by communicating essential information, coordinating actions, obtaining expert input, reviewing open issues and action items, and contributing information to team meetings and reports.
8. Work closely with various sites in the group to ensure projects are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Source parts, liaise and negotiate with suppliers.
10. Assist with engineering budgeting and cost analysis.
Essential Criteria
1. Degree in an engineering field (Mechanical/Electrical).
2. Project Management Experience.
3. Manufacturing industry experience.
4. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot.
5. A willingness to travel when required.
