We are presently recruiting for a Front Office Supervisor for one of our clients, a hotel based in Tralee, County Kerry. You’ll oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check-ins, personalized service, and seamless coordination with other departments and providing exemplary customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members at all levels, fostering professionalism and continuous improvement aligned with company objectives.
2. Develop weekly rosters to efficiently schedule team members, meeting operational needs and maintaining productivity during shifts.
3. Share guest feedback with the team to enhance service and operational efficiency, collaborating with senior management.
4. Oversee daily front desk operations, including guest interactions, check-ins, check-outs, and special requests while upholding hotel standards.
5. Handle cash, credit card, and voucher transactions accurately and securely, ensuring compliance with policies.
6. Address guest concerns professionally, following protocols and escalating issues to management when necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
1. 1+ years’ experience in a similar role with Front Office systems like HotSoft is advantageous.
2. Ability to take initiative and manage challenging situations independently.
3. Strong leadership qualities, capable of motivating, supervising, and training a team effectively.
4. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The salary for this role is ranging between €30,000-€33,000 depending on skills and experiences.
