Education Support Manager
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated leader to manage and support our education team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programme and Exam Management: Partner with the Education Department Manager to oversee the development and delivery of educational courses. Engage with the academic panel to manage the course content updates, ensuring alignment with regulatory, technological, and industry developments. Oversee exam governance processes to ensure integrity, compliance, and fairness.
* Customer Service and Member Support: Act as the escalation point for Team Members for education-related inquiries. Ensure seamless registration, participation, and follow-up processes for members engaging with education programmes.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key industry stakeholders, including financial institutions, third-level education providers, and regulators, to align programmes with industry standards. Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts for content development and course delivery.
* Team Leadership: Lead and support the Education Team, on a day to day basis, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Support the development of team members through regular daily touch points, Weekly Team Meetings and Monthly 1-2-1 meetings.
* Operational Oversight: Develop, manage and monitor departmental budgets to ensure financial efficiency and accountability. Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and adhere to professional standards. Regularly review and update processes to align with the latest regulatory changes and organisational needs.
* Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and delivery of updates to the education team.
* Performance Measurement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes through participant feedback and performance metrics. Provide regular performance and operational updates to management.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role, with direct responsibility for successfully leading and managing a team.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Experience in the finance sector or professional education (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
* Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
* Strategic mindset with a proven ability to deliver measurable results.
* Excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree qualified.
* Familiarity with professional certifications and regulatory requirements in the finance sector.
* Experience in instructional design, e-learning platforms, or innovative education technologies.
