The Finance Department at BoyleSports plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global organisation. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing and procurement strategy, optimising costs and streamlining processes across our international and local operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier relationship management.
* Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favourable contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed terms and quality standards.
* Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and process optimisation.
* Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to renewal, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and optimal terms & conditions.
* Risk Management: Assess and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and financial exposure.
* Supplier Performance: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), taking corrective action as needed.
* Fleet Management: Oversee the management of company vehicles/fleet, including vehicle acquisition and disposal, maintenance and repairs, fuel card management, driver compliance, insurance and licensing.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations, including data protection and ethical sourcing.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings and supplier performance metrics.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field
* 5+ years' experience in procurement, preferably in the gambling or retail industry
Specialist Skills and Experience:
* Proven track record in procurement and supply chain management within the gambling industry or similar environment.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Experience in managing complex procurement projects and initiatives.
* In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and tools.
* Strong understanding of international procurement practices and customs regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and financial reporting tools (Excel, SAP etc.).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably gambling.
* Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
