Restaurant Supervisor – The Samuel Hotel
We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Restaurant Supervisor in the excellent The Samuel Hotel.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant Supervisor will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
2. Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising the daily operations of The Samuel Bar & Grill.
3. Train and develop team members to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
4. Ensure that all food and beverage products are of the highest quality and served at the appropriate temperature and presentation.
5. Manage inventory, ordering, and stocking of all food and beverage products.
6. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
7. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
8. Assist with marketing and promotional activities to increase revenue and profitability.
Requirements:
1. Experience in a supervisory role in a similar hospitality or catering environment.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation.
6. Understanding of health and safety regulations.
7. Familiarity with marketing and promotional activities.
8. Previous experience in a high volume/fast paced environment.
9. Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
10. Micros Experience would be preferable.
