We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie for our client based in Dublin Airport.
Location: Dublin Airport
Hours: Shift pattern with No Late Nights. 4 days on, 3 days off
Salary: €38k
Key Responsibilities:
1. To prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard in the relevant section.
2. To liaise with senior chefs on a daily basis with regard to ordering and to be familiar with prices and suppliers.
3. To keep food wastage to a minimum.
4. To train junior staff on recipes, presentation skills and cooking skills.
5. To make a contribution to new menus with ideas, assisting in cook-offs, writing out of recipes and the costing of new menus in all outlets of the hotel.
6. To maintain the highest level of hygiene standards and safe working practices, maintaining HACCP standards and record keeping throughout the kitchen and all food and beverage areas and storage areas.
7. To monitor the maintenance of equipment and report unsafe and broken equipment.
Requirements for the role:
1. 1-2 years experience in a similar role
2. Valid EU work permit
3. Have a passion for cooking, while creating innovative dishes as the menu changes every day.
4. Excellent Hygiene and HACCP experience
