CAE Parc Aviation is accepting applications for a Maintenance Coordinator in our Borescope Inspection Services Department. The position is open to all candidates with a preference given to candidates with experience in a Maintenance/Production Coordinator role within an aircraft or aircraft component maintenance environment.
Reporting to the Borescope Services Department Manager, the successful candidate will join our team of Maintenance Coordinators in supporting our Borescope Inspectors in their performance of FAA/EASA approved borescope inspections across the globe.
Job Roles/Responsibilities
Operational Requirements:
1. Maintain a clear focus on aviation safety and team collaboration in accordance with the company’s MOE.
2. Communicate directly with our clients to process initial requests.
3. Generate and approve work packages based on customer requirements and approved maintenance data.
4. Liaise with our travel partner to arrange travel and accommodation for our inspectors.
5. Coordinate each inspection by liaising with on-site representatives, our certifying staff, and ensure that clear communication with the client representatives is maintained throughout the service delivery.
6. Review returning work packages.
7. Develop and maintain the highest professional relationship with the authorities, existing and potential clients.
8. Contribute to the organisation’s development.
Invoicing:
1. To assist in coordinating invoicing for each project.
Payroll:
1. To assist in coordinating Borescope Inspectors payroll at month end as per the dates and layout outlined by Accounts.
Candidate Requirements
Candidate requirements are as follows:
1. Previous experience in a Maintenance/Production Coordinator or Maintenance Planning role within an airline, aircraft maintenance, or aircraft component maintenance environment is essential.
2. Capacity to multi-task and act quickly to an ever-changing environment.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. A high level of computer literacy.
5. As a portion of the role’s duties will be carried out remotely, the candidate must be comfortable making decisions and have the drive to work independently.
Working Hours:
The role requires a flexible shift pattern with alternating morning and afternoon shifts as well as rolling weekend cover duties.
