We are recruiting on behalf of our client that is expanding its finance function. They are seeking a candidate with accounts receivable experience to join their team and support the continued growth of the business. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Dublin 18.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update sales ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy at all times.
* Regularly update customer account information to keep records current and correct.
* Oversee the setup of new customers through the onboarding process.
* Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of all sales orders.
* Collaborate with customers and the Sales Manager to resolve account-related issues promptly.
* Reconcile customer accounts regularly and ensure payments are properly matched to invoices.
* Conduct regular reviews of customer credit limits and payment terms to ensure they are up-to-date.
* Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are made within agreed terms.
* Keep track of outstanding debts and assess any provisions for bad debt as necessary.
* Initiate legal proceedings if customers fail to pay and recoverability becomes an issue.
* Actively follow up on overdue payments through phone and email communication.
* Resolve daily banking mismatches and ensure account accuracy.
* Collect and collate data to assist with cash flow forecasting.
