Role
The purpose of this job is to manage the procurement of goods and services necessary for the company's operations, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards. This role directly impacts the company's profitability and operational efficiency by managing supplier relationships, negotiating favourable terms, and ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee purchasing and supplier management, negotiating favourable terms and pricing.
2. Conduct market research to track price trends and supply chain developments.
3. Build strong supplier relationships, resolving issues and improving performance.
4. Align procurement with production schedules and inventory needs.
5. Ensure timely order placement, delivery tracking, and stock optimisation.
6. Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining operational efficiency.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to support business objectives.
Skills & knowledge required:
1. Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply management.
2. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
3. Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within a team.
