Marketing Partner
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Partner to join our Commercial team. This position will be 4 days a week onsite and 1 day from home. As a key contributor to our Irish marketing strategy, you will work in close collaboration with our Irish sales leaders and teams. Your primary focus will be on the project management of key Irish marketing projects and serving as the key liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
The main objectives of this role are to build and establish strong relationships with Irish vendors and customers, increase vendor income revenues, identify marketing opportunities, and align them to our vendor/customer growth objectives. Analyzing and reporting data/results is crucial to this role; a commercial mindset and strong commitment to delivering results are essential.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
* You will work closely with the Lead Commercial Marketing Manager to contribute to the development of our Irish market strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business growth goals.
* You will be responsible for managing Irish marketing budgets, forecasting, and targeting vendor income, while identifying additional revenue opportunities.
* You will develop and align quarterly marketing plans with key strategic partners.
* You will support Quarterly Business Reviews by asking key questions, implementing feedback, and building out aligned strategies.
* You will take ownership of marketing finances and vendors responsible within the marketing P&L, working within allocated budgets to provide the best value and ROI from activities carried out for CMS and our technology partners. You will also manage Vendor Market Development Funds (MDF) using a commercial mindset.
* You will drive customer segmentation capture for Ireland.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* This role reports to the Head of Brand & Communications, with a dotted line to the Lead Commercial Marketing Manager. Collaboration, open communication, and two-way feedback with both roles is critical for alignment and ultimately success.
* You will build strong relationships with Irish sales leadership, vendor managers, and account managers.
* You will travel when necessary to our Dublin office to meet with key vendors/customers as well as internal sales teams.
* You will serve as our key marketing representative for our Irish offices, leading presentations, and company communications on behalf of marketing such as the Company Update.
* You will understand vendor and customer needs and strategies to develop and propose creative campaign and activities that support their goals.
* You will collaborate with creative roles within the team to deliver on campaigns.
Project Management & Campaigns:
* You will develop strong relationships with partners, encouraging open, two-way communication channels.
* You will leverage your wealth of digital marketing experience to design and deliver innovative and impactful campaigns.
* You will have the ability to plan and execute innovative campaigns that are aligned to vendor objectives.
* You will create relevant collateral and content for internal and external use, such as case studies, battle cards, whitepapers.
ROI Measures & Reporting:
* You will have a proven ability to manage and improve ROI on lead generation campaigns.
* You will establish key metrics for all proposed marketing campaigns and activities that are aligned to customer/vendor/business objectives, in addition to internal measures.
* You will take a data-driven approach, implementing feedback and learnings for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* 3 years of experience in vendor/distributor/reseller marketing.
* Experience of the Irish market.
* Experience of account-based marketing and customer profiling.
* Some coaching, mentoring or leadership experience to support team members.
* A relevant bachelor's degree.
* Experience of launching Vendors/brands/products into new territories.
* Event Management experience.
* Marketing Automation experience - ideally HubSpot.
Desirable:
* Web optimisation experience (PPC/SEO).
