Due to the continued success and growth of the business ENEXIV are seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects in Ireland & Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
1. As the Project Manager, you are responsible for overseeing structure activity and staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures throughout.
2. Manage and motivate the site team.
3. Responsibility for maintaining excellent client relationships.
4. Ensuring that end product meets client's expectation in relation to build and finish.
5. Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.
6. Preparing and continuous monitoring of program throughout the life of the project ensuring practical completion times are met.
7. In conjunction with works manager/Foreman, planning the resources required to achieve the construction program (plant, labour and subcontractors) and sourcing and monitoring against budgets.
8. Authorisation of subcontract progress claims and/or suppliers and subcontractors invoices.
9. Working with works manager/QS to recognise variations, quantity increases and additional scope of works for the production of appropriate variation correspondence to client QS team.
10. Monitoring daily costs with works manager and QS making adjustments if unit costs are excessive.
11. Preparation of end of month progress claims and timely submission to client for approval.
12. Promotes safety and demonstrates safe behaviour and compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.
13. Providing specialist technical leadership.
14. Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team.
15. Provide regular updates on the progress of works to the Contracts Manager.
Experience:
1. Demonstrated significant civil engineering experience and responsibility and or in a related field and industry.
2. Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
3. Highly developed communication, negotiating and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, the community, customers and management groups.
4. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and management in the operating of a medium to large size complex civil and construction organisation.
5. Ability to work effectively as a team leader of a multi-disciplinary team in a civil and construction environment.
6. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality assurance including the ability to identify and rectify problems and prevent non-conformities.
7. Able to work within a team.
8. Adaptable, motivated and uses own initiative.
9. Proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
10. Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team.
11. Experience of working within a collaborative environment.
