The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is a national, free, confidential and independent service providing advice and support to people in debt or in danger of getting into debt. MABS Support CLG is a separate entity dedicated to the provision of supports to the MABS staff nationwide, providing specialist expertise in a range of areas including learning and professional development, money management education, expert advice on case work, quality standards, social policy, and research.
MABS Support CLG is seeking to recruit a permanent full-time Education and Financial Inclusion Executive. The successful candidate will be part of the Learning and Development team with primary responsibility for providing effective education and financial inclusion support for MABS staff and clients. * Permanent Post: This is a permanent position subject to completion of a six-month probationary period.
* Full Time Salary Scale: €44,602 - €61,349 (including 2 long service increments), pro-rata for part-time staff.
* Annual Leave: 29 days (Points 1 - 4 on salary scale), 31 days (points 4 - LSI2 on salary scale).
* Pension: There is a pension scheme in place where 5% is contributed by the employee and 7% by the employer. Membership of the pension scheme is mandatory.
* Incremental Credit: It is expected that all new entrants to MABS Support CLG will be appointed at point one of the salary scale. However, MABS Support CLG operates an incremental credit process for appointments higher than point one. This process is applicable to new entrants into the company. Incremental credit criteria, based on the competencies for the role, are assessed against employment history as laid out in the application form only. A request for incremental credit from a successful candidate must be made within the first 3 months of employment. The decision to award an incremental credit is made by the Board and is subject to the availability of funding.
A panel may be formed of qualified candidates for any Education and Financial Inclusion posts that arise within the next 12 months. The panel will be made up of permanent Education and Financial Inclusion Executive posts. Posts will be located in Dublin.
