Teaching Fellow in Mathematics
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality mathematics teaching in pure and applied mathematics at undergraduate level.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lecture and tutor students on BSc and MMaths programmes, with possible contributions to other relevant programmes.
* Set and mark student assessments, providing timely feedback.
* Supervise undergraduate student projects and assist with computer classes as needed.
* Support the development and delivery of an innovative teaching strategy in the School, and contribute to administration and outreach activity when required.
About the Person:
* Hold a degree (MSci, MMath, or Msc) or equivalent in Mathematics (minimum award 2:1).
* Have a PhD in Mathematical Sciences, either completed or in progress.
* Demonstrate commitment to providing a high-quality student learning experience.
* Exhibit a high level of analytical capability.
* Be willing to supervise undergraduate student projects.
