Our Client is seeking an experienced IMS & Compliance Manager to provide essential support and guidance to their business and EHS team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that their Integrated Management System (IMS) aligns with operational and compliance requirements, meeting both Company and regulatory standards.
What Your Day To Day will look like:
1. Maintain the IMS across the business, ensuring adherence to Company, client, and regulatory requirements.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures within the IMS, ensuring proper execution.
3. Collaborate closely with EHS to establish health & safety, road safety, environmental, quality, sustainability, energy, and training policies.
4. Lead the IMS and Compliance Team, managing workload, performance appraisals, and individual development plans.
5. Promote company core values, fostering a high-performance culture and clear communication within the team.
6. Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and accreditation organisations to manage and operate various EHS systems.
7. Plan and implement EHS programs to ensure continuous compliance and strive for industry leadership.
8. Conduct internal audits and inspections to maintain ISO standards and other memberships in a timely manner.
9. Support business growth activities through collaboration with teams during the tendering and service development processes.
Qualifications:
1. Recognised SHEQ qualification with IOSH/IIRSM membership status or equivalent.
2. Membership of IEMA is a distinct advantage.
3. Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience, including team management and performance development.
4. Experience in managing EHS and operational budgets.
5. IOSH/NEBOSH and IEMA accredited is preferred.
