Overview
The Sales & Marketing Executive will oversee the day-to-day Sales & Marketing activities of the Talbot Hotel Wexford, Talbot Suites at Stonebridge and Newbay House.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop an effective advertising and promotional plan for Talbot Collection Wexford.
* Plan and implement sales strategies for the Talbot Collection, Wexford.
* Profile and drive new clients and prospects for the Talbot Collection Wexford.
* Establish a high profile for yourself and the brand in the marketplace through regular client meetings and entertainment.
* Liaise with the Sales & Marketing Manager & Area General Manager regarding all sales activities.
Sales and Business Development:
* Increase overall sales through corporate market penetration and booking agents.
* Achieve sales turnover on annual budget figures for the Talbot Collection Wexford.
* Work closely with operating departments to maximize service opportunities and increase revenues.
* Manage RFPs / FIT/Tour Series contracts solicitations accurately and within budgeted guidelines.
* Monitor brochure stock and maintain records for the Sales Department.
* Develop and expand food and beverage business with emphasis on bar/restaurant sales and conference/banqueting.
* Build amicable and personable relationships with clients, agencies and staff.
Marketing Execution:
* Liaise with Area Sales & Marketing Manager on marketing material for corporate sales activity.
* Manage and sustain internet/GDS activity competently.
* Monitor the market and complete competitor analysis frequently.
Digital Marketing:
* Update corporate content on websites for the Talbot Collection Wexford regularly.
* Support digital marketing efforts to ensure a positive online presence.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Highly motivated and driven to achieve targets.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
