Role Overview:
The Contracts & Procurement Surveyor plays a critical role in the management of contracts related to property repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment within residential developments in Dublin. This includes leading procurement for goods and services contracts associated with maintenance and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct feasibility studies, defect analyses, and cost estimations for housing projects.
* Oversee planned and cyclical maintenance programs utilizing advanced asset management tools.
* Manage sustainable energy initiatives, including audits and improvement programs.
* Deliver detailed project reports and ensure compliance with public procurement and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or working environment.
* 3rd level qualification in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of public procurement principles, health and safety legislation, and building pathology.
* Building control requirements are desirable.
