Members of the AWS Cloud Premium Support team are at the forefront of cloud technologies, working with the full breadth of AWS services. Our team is comprised of highly skilled individuals who are passionate about cloud computing and believe that world-class support is essential for customer success.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advanced monitoring and troubleshooting solutions to customers, replicating and reproducing issues to deliver high-standard resolutions for complex situations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during critical events, acting as their consultant.

What You'll Do Every Day
* Learn and apply cutting-edge technologies.
* Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions tailored to each customer's needs.
* Interact with leading technologists worldwide.
* Collaborate with AWS architects to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
* Leverage your expertise to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements.
* Drive customer communication during critical events.
* Work within a follow-the-sun model, with support sites located globally; no after-hours on-call or mandated overtime.
* Pursue career development opportunities within AWS Support, including Senior Support Engineer, SME, Operations Manager, Solutions Architect, and Technical Account Manager.
* Experience variety in your role, supporting a wide range of technical issues while also coaching/mentoring new hires, developing training, partnering with development teams, participating in recruiting, writing tools/scripts, or working with leadership on process improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in network and operating system support.
* Knowledge of virtualization, orchestration, and cloud computing (e.g., Hypervisors, VMware, Xen).
* Experience with database administration.
* Software development experience using object-oriented languages.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
* Information security and compliance experience.
