Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a hard-working and passionate team who thrive on exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time permanent position, working 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the timely action of all inquiries according to our brand standards, providing information for guests, selling and coordinating in-house activities, and promoting the beauty of Ballyfin to convert bookings.
A large part of this role will be seamlessly arranging all guest requests, including anticipating requirements to ensure all guests have a memorable stay at Ballyfin.
Main duties include (but are not limited to):
* Respond to all telephone and email inquiries received
* Actively action all individual and group reservations
* Proactively convert inquiries to sales
* Offer the best possible advice to guests on the House and Demesne
* Have a good knowledge of local and national places of interest
* Assist guests with all Demesne activities
* Assist the Butlers in welcoming guests, i.e., greet cars/guests from front steps, welcome to house, brief tour, etc.
* Prepare the daily function sheets and attend the daily operational meetings
* Responsible for stock taking and ordering items for our on-site shop
* Ensure that all relevant data is collected in advance of guest visits and communicated to relevant department heads
