Maintenance Team Leader - Dublin We are working with one of our very well established clients in Dublin, they're looking for a Mechanical Team Leader to work at the Poolbeg Power Plant.
You would be responsible for leading and managing performance of maintenance teams and other duties as assigned.
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious, high performing individual who is keen to take on a leadership role.
Your key responsibilities will include: Ensure safety of staff and contractors through compliance with safety systems, including permits to work, setting to work and risk assessments.
Carry out authorised roles under the safety rules.
Prioritise, schedule and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure business continuity.
Procurement of key services and components.
Supervise maintenance team and manage all people related issues within the team or cross functional teams.
Supervise and Manage Contractors / Contracts.
Support of station projects, improvement areas, including LTAP process, process safety workstreams, stores management, etc.
Liaise with other departments and head office specialists as required, and support compliance with corporate and other relevant standards.
We are keen to speak to candidates with the following experience: Strong safety focus and knowledge of the setting people to work safely.
Ability to lead safety culture.
Experience and technical knowledge of power station maintenance or a maintenance practice in similar heavy process industry.
Team building and leadership qualities with a track record in supervising personnel.
Experience in the operation of Work Management Systems and Contractor Management.
