Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Role Type: Permanent Full time OR Part time
Location: Sandyford, Dublin.
Force Recruitment have partnered with a leading nutritional supplement company based in South Dublin, to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Manager on a permanent basis. There are full time and part time options available. This role is responsible for managing the Quality function and will oversee and ensure the quality standards of products in accordance with regulatory requirements. Working closely with the supply chain team, you will also develop close relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. This role would suit an experienced quality professional, coming from a food or pharmaceutical background.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensure product and service quality by working with manufacturers and suppliers.
* Continuously improve and enforce QMS through audits and providing technical support to the business.
* Write and review SOPs and quality documentation.
* Audit 3rd party manufacturers and suppliers.
* Manage non-conformances, complaints, and quality records.
* Conduct material/product checks for compliance with specifications.
* Review artwork, labels, and approve finished product specifications.
* Coordinate sample assessments and shelf-life evaluations.
* Ensure traceability and effective communication with internal/external stakeholders.
* Complete routine specification reviews and product quality assessments.
* Provide quality metrics to leadership and assess third-party quality documentation.
* Inspect returned products and liaise with contract labs for testing.
* Manage product recalls and collaborate with regulatory authorities.
* Support new product development and reformulations.
* Track quality and product development department expenditures.
* Travel to supplier/manufacturer sites as needed.
Experience & Qualification required:
* 3+ years’ experience in Quality role within the healthcare, FMCG or food industries.
* BSc in Science and/or relevant quality assurance qualification is a distinct advantage.
* QMS and SOP development experience
