A leading Distribution company who have brands in all major Retailers across Ireland is looking for a Regional Field Sales Manager to manage a Team of Field Sales Executives.
About Your Regional Field Sales Manager Job
You will develop and manage a team of Field Sales Executives who will execute the brand plans at point of purchase in Impulse & Grocery Group outlets throughout the Midlands and South East Ireland.
* Effectively lead, train, and motivate the Team to implement the Sales Strategy across specified channels and categories.
* Foster continuous improvement within stores, benchmarking performance against world-class standards.
* Regularly monitor and review KPI performance, providing clear feedback and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing the Journey Plan on an ongoing basis to ensure efficient, effective, and comprehensive coverage of the territory.
2. Ensuring that Field Sales Executives achieve the specified call coverage based on the agreed Journey plan every period.
3. Providing regular feedback to relevant personnel to underpin continued progress towards the agreed plan.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining consistent performance within your team through ongoing field training, communication, motivation, and quarterly assessments.
* Planning and conducting team meetings each month.
* Recruitment and induction training for new team members.
The Skills You Need for this Field Sales Manager Job
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A relevant University Degree (strong advantage)
* At least 3 years field sales experience within FMCG
* Experience in building and maintaining relationships with Grocery Retailers
* Management experience over a Sales Team
* A strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external relationships
* An ability to lead, motivate, and influence others
* Proactive management style with planned long-term solutions and strategies
* IT literacy with strong analytical, organisational, and strategic skills
* High degrees of competency in Excel and PowerPoint
