ERM is looking for an experienced Ecologist to join our talented and rapidly expanding Dublin team. You’ll work on a wide range of Irish, UK and International Sustainable Infrastructure, Renewables and Low Carbon Energy Transition projects. Supporting Project Managers in the delivery of projects to schedule and budget, you will coordinate and undertake terrestrial ecology surveys, desk-based studies and data submissions. You’ll prepare technical reports, potentially turn your hand to Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments, and input into Ecological Impact Assessment Chapters as well as Habitats Regulations Assessments. Providing support and input to protected species licence applications, mitigation work and habitat management proposals are also part of this great varied role, all the while adhering to the CIEEM Code of Professional Conduct.

About you
You’ll be degree qualified in Ecology or a related field, have a full driving license which allows you to drive in Ireland, and you’ll be a member of CIEEM or are working towards this. You will have prior experience of writing/contributing to technical reports and PEA’s, as well as assessments (EcIA).
