Kitchen Porter
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Porter to join our team at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in our kitchen. You will assist the Executive Head Chef in ensuring that all equipment and utensils are clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment and utensils
* Operating an industrial dishwasher to clean crockery and cutlery
* Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Lifting and carrying loads as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Prior experience working in a large kitchen environment
* A strong ability to work efficiently and deal with busy periods competently
* Self-motivation and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest service
* Excellent interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements
You will be required to work a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts, including late nights. A minimum availability of 30 hours per week is required, spread across up to 5 shifts per week.
