We are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for our client, a Luxury Hotel in County Claire. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all aspects of payroll for both full and part-time staff. You will be highly proficient with Excel, fully understand Revenue on Line services and ensure correct payment of all staff who run both weekly and monthly payroll. This is a full-time position, based on site and within easy commute of Ennis and Kilrush.
Responsibilities
1. Process weekly and monthly Payroll runs.
2. Liaise with department heads in validating data for processing.
3. Ensure company compliance to all aspects of payroll e.g. PAYE, PRSI, USC, LPT and BIK.
4. Respond to all employee payroll queries in an efficient manner.
5. Liaise with HR department regarding processing of Staff Accommodation charges, contract amendments, Starters/Leavers.
6. Preparation of payroll cost analysis and journals for review and posting.
7. Ability to meet deadlines and take ownership of role.
8. Management of ROS for various payroll returns.
9. Weekly Payroll Reporting to managers.
10. Assisting with Cash Control throughout the resort.
11. Other ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications and experience:
1. Payroll qualifications – IPASS preferred.
2. Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation and employment tax experience.
3. 2+ years’ experience desired within a busy Irish payroll environment.
Salary is based on experience and in the region of €30 – €38,000. Staff meals on duty are also offered along with additional benefits to be discussed at interview stage.
