Ryanair are currently recruiting for the Safety Manager – Engineering to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Reporting to the Safety Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Dublin and will be tasked with the responsibility for the Engineering Safety Department activities across the Ryanair network for compliance with the EASA Regulations and Company Procedures.
ResponsibilitiesAttends regular Safety and Security MeetingsCarries out risk analysis and assess the effectiveness of actions takenInitiates and follow-up on safety occurrences/incidents/accident investigations.Provides Ryanair management with independent advice on safety matters and produce safety performance reports as requested and appropriate.Represents Ryanair at EASA activities, UKFSC and other external meetings as directed by the Director of Safety & Security.Assists the Safety Manager in ensuring development, delivering, and distributing appropriate Safety Training, in conjunction with the personnel department or appropriate nominated person, to those positions that have safety responsibilities within the Organisation and ensure the training meets the required standards.RequirementsA relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification or 5 years' experience in maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness managementKnowledge of EASA regulations relating to Part 145, EU Ops, Part M, Part CAMO and Part 147Safety management experience would be an advantage.Operational experience related to the activities of the organisation.Experience working with internal/external management systems.Experience in a supervisory role would be beneficial.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Skills DesiredThorough knowledge of the organisation's CAME.Knowledge of maintenance methods.Must be flexible and adapt to change quickly.Ability to work to deadlines and on own initiative.Good problem-solving skills.BenefitsDiscounted and unlimited travel to over 250 destinationsDefined Contribution Pension Scheme – Matched up to 5% or €5,000Death in Service Benefit – Up to 2 times of annual basic salary20 Days Annual Leave – Increasing to 22 days after 12 months and 25 days after 3 years of continuous service.Option for up to 5 additional unpaid leave days per year
