Job Description
Our client takes pride in maintaining the highest standards in their data centre operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support electrical infrastructures across data centre facilities, ranging from large-capacity setups to smaller operations.
* Manage building management systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance.
* Conduct Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns, ensuring critical loads are maintained.
* Perform PDU shutdowns for power meter replacements and Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
* Oversee master controller shutdowns or replacements as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a data centre environment is a plus.
* Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
* Qualified Electrical Worker would be ideal.
* Must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
* Proven experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centres, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing.
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
* Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or non-standard work weeks.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
