Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated PLC Engineer to enhance our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations through expert development and management of automated systems. This position entails a comprehensive engagement with PLC systems from design through maintenance, within a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, program, and maintain PLC systems that control pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
2. Develop detailed documentation for PLC system specifications and maintenance procedures.
3. Implement system upgrades and integrations with existing manufacturing technology to improve efficiency and compliance.
4. Conduct rigorous testing and validation of PLC systems to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GMP standards.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in automation systems to minimize production downtime.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to align automation strategies with organizational goals.
7. Train technical personnel on PLC system operations and best practices.
8. Stay updated with the latest in control system technology and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in automation processes.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and system design, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
3. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical production processes, GMP, and relevant FDA regulations.
4. Proficient in using PLC programming software and tools.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
