The Role: The Senior Bid Writer will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end bid and tender process, supporting the companys continued growth and success. You will work closely with senior management, internal departments, and external partners to ensure the production of high-quality, winning submissions. Key Responsibilities: Attend client tender presentations and site visits (via MS Teams or in person). Develop and agree bid strategies with senior management. Coordinate bid timelines and manage deadlines for PQQs and tenders. Lead Bid Launch meetings and oversee deliverables schedules. Coordinate quality and technical answer plans with writers and subject matter experts. Evaluate draft responses, providing clear, structured feedback. Prepare, write, and refine technical and quality content for bids. Liaise with internal teams, design partners, and the supply chain to compile compelling submissions. Assist in the development of case studies and a bid library for future tenders. Prepare presentations and documentation for client interviews. The Ideal Candidate: Degree-qualified in a construction-related or marketing discipline (preferred). Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar bid/tender coordination role. Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management abilities. Confident working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines. Strong IT skills and analytical thinking. Commercially aware with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
