Site Manager Job Description
A well-established mid-sized main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a large-scale housing development in Drogheda.
Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
* Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety across the site.
* Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
* Supervise all on-site activities, including coordinating with trades and suppliers to maintain efficient progress.
* Work with the Senior Engineer to ensure all technical aspects of the build align with specifications.
* Maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, material records, and safety logs.
* Conduct regular quality control inspections and promptly address any issues to avoid delays.
* Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any issues.
Requirements:
* 5+ years experience as a Site Manager, ideally on large-scale residential or housing projects.
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety practices.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the project team.
