Job Description
A HSE Manager is required to promote and develop a Safety Culture across NI GM sites.
The ideal candidate will establish and maintain a robust safety culture across manufacturing units, conduct regular safety training sessions for all employees, and develop and implement safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* Health & Safety: Promote and develop a Safety Culture across NI GM sites.
* Establish and maintain a robust safety culture across manufacturing units.
* Conduct regular safety training sessions for all employees.
* Develop and implement safety protocols, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
* Oversee incident investigations and identify preventive measures.
Environmental Focus
To be the catalyst for activity and commitment to environmental management. Ensure at minimum, legal compliance and reduce risk of non-compliance.
Drive product stewardship across the business and manage carbon reporting by tracking, analysing, and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions.
Requirements
* Degree in Environmental Management or equivalent with relevant NEBOSH qualifications.
* Practical working knowledge of improving safety in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in developing a 'safety culture' in an industrial setting.
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance (especially PPC permits).
* Experience in carbon footprint reporting and sustainability strategies.
* Familiarity with safety audit processes and safety management systems.
