Job Description
This role is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of electrical utilities within our production facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment, with strong practical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in commissioning activities, project support, and equipment vendor maintenance.
* Plan and schedule maintenance activities with the utilities department and engineering department.
* Liaise with discipline leads to coordinate activities for efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
* Develop cost-saving and energy reduction initiatives on utilities systems.
Requirements:
* Apprenticeship or 3rd level qualification with mechanical experience or electrical experience.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical/electrical utilities or process maintenance.
* Must have experience working within the pharmaceutical or biologics industry.
* Strong practical mechanical knowledge.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They will also be required to remain calm and focused when dealing with multiple tasks.
