Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production processes in a leading medical device company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dynamic cleanroom manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, and improve existing production processes and procedures.
* Support Engineers in investigating and implementing new production methods, including equipment design and maintenance.
* Design, specify, manufacture, test, and document production equipment changes and improvements.
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) and calibrate equipment as required.
* Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Provide process support and troubleshoot production issues, identifying equipment faults and implementing corrective actions.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance production efficiency.
Requirements:
* Qualified Fitter, Toolmaker, Electrician, or Mechatronic qualification.
* Previous experience working in a dynamic cleanroom manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
* Experience in areas such as changeovers and troubleshooting on injection moulding equipment, multivac packaging systems, and extrusion blow moulding processes.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve equipment faults effectively.
* Ability to perform preventative maintenance and scheduled PMs.
* Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
